Kali ini InShare Fotografi akan coba Review kamera mirrorless CANON EOS M yang merupakan kamera mirrorless andalan dari Canon. EOS M dibekali dengan sensor jenis APS-C. Ini sebagai bukti bahwa Canon mulai dengan persaingan produsen di segmen kamera mirrorless. Canon juga menunjukkan keseriusannya dalam segmentasi pasar ini.

Melihat apa yang diberikan CANON EOS M, kamera ini memiliki sensor APS-C yang memiliki kemampuan setara dengan kamera DSLR kelas Entry Level dan juga kamera semi profesional lainnya milik Canon yang selama ini adalah tulang punggung dari Canon dalam pasar penjualan kamera. Pengguna akan dimanjakan dengan kualitas dan bentuknya yang ringkas.

Tombol yang dimiliki CANON EOS M cukup sederhana. Konsep yang diberikan kamera ini sangat pas bila diberikan untuk pemula yang ingin melakukan pemotretan dengan mode automatic. Di bagian belakang anda akan menemukan beberapa tombol utama seperti cross-menu yang dilengkapi tombol putar. Selain itu ada juga tombol pengatur mode pemotretan yang anda inginkan serta pengatur nilai ISO yang diinginkan pengguna.

CANON EOS M ini memang belum memiliki pilihan lensa EF-M yang beragam seperti kamera Canon lainnya. Dalam paket penjualan kamera ini, pengguna dimudahkan dengan disertakannya adapter EF-EOS M yang membuat pengguna kamera ini bisa menggnakan lensa EF yang biasa digunakan pada kamera DSLR. Canon baru menyediakan lensa pancake EF-M 22m f/2 STm dan juga EF-M 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM.

CANON EOS M

Menurut kami Canon berhasil mempertahankan reputasi mereka dalam hal kualitas kameranya. Pengguna disediakan LCD beresolusi 1 juta pixel yang mampu menampilkan preview hasil jepretan dengan tingkat tinggi. Hasil jepretan CANON EOS M diruang terbuka kami rasa sangat memuaskan dengan ketajaman yang sangat baik.

CANON EOS M dibekali dengan kemampuan untuk berjalan di rentang ISO 100-6400 dan termasuk memuaskan dengan menghasilkan cukup sedikit noise. Saat dicoba pada ISO 800, hasil jepretannya hampir tidak menimbulkan noise sama sekali. Saat ditingkatkan ke ISO 1600, Disinilah noise mulai muncul. Noise terasa mulai mengganggu saat menggunakan ISO berukuran 3200. ISO memang bisa ditingkatkan hingga ISO 25600, namun sangat disarankan hanya menggunakannya saat keadaan darurat saja.

CANON EOS M memiliki kelemahan yaitu dalam hal kecepatan. Autofocus yang dimilikinya terasa lambat, baik digunakan di dalam ruangan atau di luar ruangan. Kecepatan ini semakin parah saat menggunakan lensa EF melalui adapter EF-EOS M. Dari pada kita menggunakan autofocus, lebih baik kita menggunakan fokus manual saat menggunakan lensa EF.

Yang jelas menjadi kelebihan adalah sensor besar yang dimiliki CANON EOS M. Ini jelas membuat gambar memiliki detail dan ketajaman yang cukup baik. selain itu CANON EOS M juga memiliki kelebihan lain dalam hal noise rendah.

Bodi EOS M terasa cukup baik dengan ukuran kecil yang sangat ringkas. CANON EOS M mudah digunakan dan memang sangat cocok untuk dioperasikan oleh fotografer pemula. Sensor Digic 5 yang digunakan oleh CANON EOS M ini memang mampu menghasilkan gambar yang cukup tajam dan noise rendah. Dengan memperbaiki kecepatannya, mungkin kamera ini tidak hanya bisa digunakan oleh fotografer pemula saja.
